## What is Candy AI?

Put simply, Candy AI (candy.ai) is a website where adults 18+ chat with AI companions. It is run by EverAI Limited, registered in Malta, launched in 2023 and is now one of the most heavily advertised services of its kind. You can choose from a large library of premade realistic or anime characters or design your own, picking their looks, personality, voice and relationship type.

You use it in a browser. EverAI has no official native app, only an "add to home screen" web app for phones, and reviewers warn that apps in the stores using the Candy name may not be official.

* **How far 100 tokens go.** Around 25 images at roughly 4 tokens apiece, and that is the lot. Most users who add voice calls or video regularly will need more. A Trustpilot reviewer described spending close to $300 on tokens in one month, which is extreme but shows the risk.
* **Payment.** Visa, Mastercard and several cryptocurrencies are reported. Card charges reportedly appear as "Everai" rather than "Candy": not anonymous, but the product is not named.
* **Cancelling and refunds.** Unsubscribe under My Profile → Settings → Unsubscribe and access continues to the end of the paid period.
